On our road trip through Arizona I just couldn’t get enough of the beauty around every single corner we turned. I had four different cameras with me plus my iPhone, so needless to say I have plenty of images to keep the memories alive. We’re not morning people, but due to the time difference we were up with the sun every day and ready to spend the first part of the day exploring and the latter half taking it easy, and eating. Always eating. There were several spots we went to that we had mostly to ourselves, which certainly enriched our experience. I guess that’s what happens when you travel the week before a very intense presidential election?
Below are some images shot on 35mm Kodak Portra 160 film and Instax Fuji film. I like to shoot film when I travel because it captures a place in it’s raw form, just as it is. No filters, no edits, just as exactly as I see it with my own eyes.
You can see part I of the trip here…
