  • Hello! Welcome to the Blog.

As a lifestyle and wedding photographer, I love what I do. My intentions are to capture life as it happens and tell stories through energetic and artistic imagery. And oh yes, my photos are lively and fun, but most importantly, they are about you just being you. What does that mean exactly? It means images that are casual and minimally posed, all the while timeless. So. If you're looking for the unexpected, beauty in simplicity kind of photographs, well, then let's chat.

Thanks for stopping by the blog. Here you will find my latest work, travels + endless adventures. For more information + my complete portfolio, visit the website at www.noelleann.com

Don't be shy, say hello! And pretty please--do not remove, copy or use photos in any way without permission. Many thanks!

TRAVEL | PACIFIC NORTHWEST PART I: SEATTLE + PORTLAND

Recently I combined a little business + pleasure and flew out to Seattle to meet with some clients as well as visit a good friend. My dear friend was the most wonderful hostess, making sure every moment was filled with adventure and beauty. We spent a few days in Seattle and then traveled to Portland and then worked our way to the coast. The following images are from my time in Seattle + Portland, two ah-mazing cities. The food, the culture, the desire for endless adventure–I couldn’t get enough !

Part II from our time on the coast coming tomorrow.

ps. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have a slight obsession with old Volkswagon buses. They are everywhere in the good ol’ PNW. I’ve had one on my wish list for awhile now.

TRAVEL | PARIS ON FILM

I have one last little piece of my Europe trip to share. I can’t recall the last time I shot with film, but I know it’s been quite awhile. Film has always been dear to me. It is, after all, how I first fell in love with photography. Along with using my main camera and my iPhone, I also took a film camera with me. The quality is, well, less than amazing, but to me there is something so beautiful about the dark, grainy images. And unlike digital, I love the element of  surprise because you have no idea how the roll will turn out. If you aren’t shooting pro-photography, you don’t have to have a fancy camera to get beautiful images. It’s all in how you use what you’ve got :)

TRAVEL | EUROPE PART III: PARIS ON VIDEO

I am a photographer, certainly not an expert on shooting video, but it is fun for me to capture beautiful memories in a different way. Last year I put together a short little film from our west coast road trip so I decided to do the same from my time in Paris. Make sure to turn up the volume, you won’t want to miss the charming song “La Valse d’Amelie” from one of my favorite movies, Amelie.
