  • Hello! Welcome to the Blog.

As a lifestyle and wedding photographer, I love what I do. My intentions are to capture life as it happens and tell stories through energetic and artistic imagery. And oh yes, my photos are lively and fun, but most importantly, they are about you just being you. What does that mean exactly? It means images that are casual and minimally posed, all the while timeless. So. If you're looking for the unexpected, beauty in simplicity kind of photographs, well, then let's chat.

Thanks for stopping by the blog. Here you will find my latest work, travels + endless adventures. For more information + my complete portfolio, visit the website at www.noelleann.com

Don't be shy, say hello! And pretty please--do not remove, copy or use photos in any way without permission. Many thanks!

Tis the season [for Christmas Cards]

Okay, now that Thanksgiving is over–we can officially talk /think/celebrate the Christmas season. Whew!  I just love it.  This year, I’ve created some fun + modern designs for Christmas cards just for YOU.  They aren’t the typical flimsy photo paper cards, instead they are heavy cardstock (almost like a postcard) paper, and they come with envelopes.  All you have to do is pick the design you want, then pick the image you want, and place your order with me :)   If you’re interested, let me know, and place your order soon because Christmas is a comin’…

Here are the options:

#1: 5×7

#2: 4×8

#3: 5×7

Meggan McKee - These are super cute Noelle! I especially like the middle one. *Wink*

Erica + Brett [Bentley too.]

I love these two! They were married a few years ago, and are no longer just “clients” but most definitely friends.  I always tell Erica she’s my “PR” person, thanks to the many and kind referrals she has sent my way.  These two are funny, adorable, and [dog] parents to precious Bentley.  We met up on a beautiful autumn afternoon for their “just because” shoot.  Fall really IS the best time of year to shoot. I truly can’t get enough of it.  Oh and this location? Most certainly my new favorite.

Jamie, Class of 2011.

I met up with Jamie on yet another beautiful autumn afternoon for his senior photo session.  His sister was kind enough to let us shoot on her property out in Whitehouse, which was acres upon acres of beautiful woods.  I really love an “urban” setting with grungy buildings and old brick walls, but there is something so beautiful about tall, lanky trees with their bare branches letting the sun shine through.  Thanks to Jamie for lookin’ handsome and being a good sport about his photos :) There is still plenty of time for 2011 grads to get their senior session done, so e-mail me at noelleshumer@yahoo.com if you want to schedule something.
