Jenna + Adam were married on a brisk and drizzly evening downtown Toledo at The Oliver House. Rather than the rain putting a damper on the day, for once it only added to the romantic + intimate setting. When I initially met with Jenna + Adam to discuss their wedding, I knew that we were 110% a match. They wanted a wedding with no fuss, but instead, something that felt personal and simple. Her dress, his clothes, a DIY bouquet and the simplest yet most beautiful decor brought their vision to life. A short and sweet candlelit ceremony in front of their immediate family followed by a dinner party (with donuts !) was the perfect evening. I am a lover of architecture and simplistic design, so this wedding was certainly right up my alley. And in all honesty, if I were to have a wedding today it would be very reminiscent of this one.
I will take all of the downtown weddings and all of the intimate weddings please.
