Oh, Sedona, Arizona. What a marvelous, unearthly like place. When the world feels too chaotic and noisy, the best thing I can do is escape to a place that reminds me just how beautiful the Earth truly is. And just how grateful we are for all the good things that still exist. For myself and my husband that place is Sedona.
At the end of July we spent a long weekend there to celebrate our thirteenth anniversary. Time flies, y’all. Typically we don’t make a big deal about our anniversary, usually it’s dinner out and a movie in. However, this year we decided to do something special for number thirteen. We were just in Sedona back in November but knew it wouldn’t be long before we returned. Since late summer is monsoon season in Arizona it made for some rather moody weather. But still so damn beautiful, rain or shine. Our weekend consisted of hiking, eating, exploring, off roading and relaxing. A mighty fine few days with my man if you ask me.
